  • Conduct proper load inspections, secure cargo using forklifts, chains, tie-downs, ramps, and follow DOT safety protocols.
  • Load and unload heavy equipment at job sites; assist with positioning and setup.
  • Support the crew with installation activities — lifting, aligning, bolting, and basic tool work.
  • Contribute to job site tasks: material movement, site preparation, basic electrical connections, welding/fabrication, and cleanup.
  • Perform routine vehicle and trailer inspections and minor maintenance to ensure road safety.
  • Complete accurate logs, time sheets, and work order documentation.
  • Transport removed equipment back to the yard, label properly, and organize in designated areas.
  • Act professionally on job sites and follow all safety and conduct standards.
  • Adapt to a dynamic schedule with early start times, longer workdays, and occasional overnight or weekend work.

Requirements

  • Valid CDL A license with no restrictions (endorsements a plus).
  • Proficient in forklift operation and comfortable working around heavy machinery.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and operating tools.
  • Willingness to travel throughout New England, sometimes with overnight stays.
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) review.
