Compensation: $47,000 – $52,000/year + Health, Dental, Vision Insurance + 401K

This is a confidential and permanent opportunity with a company that specializes in the service, repair, and maintenance of heavy-duty equipment used in waste and recycling applications. If you’re a mechanically inclined professional who thrives on diagnosing and fixing machinery, this could be the perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trash compactors, balers, dock lifts, forklifts, and other industrial equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues accurately and efficiently.
• Complete and submit job-related paperwork, including time sheets and service reports.
• Maintain a well-organized and stocked service vehicle.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while working independently at job sites.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in industrial commercial equipment repair and maintenance, particularly with compactors and balers.
• Welding Certification and Forklift Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to travel and work over-the-road as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
